The New Jersey School Boards Association’s 2023 Spring Education Symposium is less than two weeks away. Join us virtually on Tuesday, April 25 for multiple concurrent training sessions covering meaningful subjects school officials have requested.

School officials must communicate with the public and engage people with different views. A new morning session, “The Value of Transparency in School PR,” will explore how to target your audience, build credibility and become the reliable go-to source for official information.

This session will be led by two knowledgeable and experienced speakers, Rosa Cirianni and Chanta L. Jackson.

Rosa Cirianni is the owner and founder of Rose Write Strategies, LLC. She is a seasoned communications professional with more than 20 years of combined experience as an award-winning reporter and public relations practitioner primarily working in New Jersey, Arizona and New York. She worked in the communications department for New Jersey School Boards Association and later as a consultant.

Chanta L. Jackson is an award-winning journalist with more than 25 years of experience. She is a graduate of the University of Maryland College Park and has done graduate studies at the Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern. During her nine-year tenure at the Asbury Park School District, she has served as the chief branding and public information officer, who has successfully articulated the educational renaissance taking place in the district.

“The Value of Transparency in School PR” offers QPA credits, which are only applicable to the live viewing of the session. QPA-approved session certificates will be emailed to attendees within two weeks of completion of the conference.

Registrants will be able to view all sessions and access information on-demand through the end of the school year. Don’t miss out on this valuable opportunity!
