Entries for the 2018 STEAM Tank competition are now being accepted; the deadline for applications is Feb. 9. Student teams create innovative projects and present their inventions before a judging panel of entrepreneurs, business leaders and inventors.

On Saturday, Feb. 3, NJSBA will hold three regional training sessions on the new superintendent evaluation tool. There is no charge for the training sessions, which will be held in Washington Township (Gloucester County), Trenton, and Montville.
The Association’s annual technology conference will be held Friday, March 9. The program will feature sessions on how to advance technology in schools and districts, as well as information on the popular Future Ready Schools-NJ certification program.
A two-day conference, "Equity & Discipline: Schools, Rules, and Socialization Effects for Students," will be held on Jan. 30 and Feb. 28. The conference is sponsored by NJSBA, in partnership with the Middlesex County Curriculum Council, N.J. School Development Council, and the Rutgers Institute for Improving Student Achievement.
The Association’s Board of directors will meet on Jan. 26 at NJSBA headquarters at 413 West State St., Trenton. The meeting is open to the public.
