Legislative Update: Ed Committees Move Child Abuse, School Security Measures; Gov. Signs Gun Safety Bills
The Senate and Assembly education committees recently moved bills aimed at preventing child abuse and sexual assault in schools and addressing school security issues, while the governor signed several gun safety measures on June 13.
On June 13, NJSBA and NJEdge, a statewide nonprofit research and education network, entered into an agreement to offer virtualization software licensing and cybersecurity services on a shared-service basis to New Jersey’s public schools.
