The NJSBA Delegate Assembly adopted a resolution to add language to the NJSBA Manual of Policies and Positions, stating that the Association believes it is detrimental for the state to reduce projected aid to school districts after districts have been notified of their aid entitlements.
Now that the U.S. House of Representatives has approved the “Tax Cuts and Jobs Act,” attention turns to the Senate.
NJSBA is hosting Bargaining at the Table on Friday, Dec. 8 and Saturday, Jan. 20, to help districts understand what happens at the bargaining table, what to expect during negotiations, and how they should respond.
For the fourth consecutive year, NJSBA and the New Jersey State League of Municipalities co-sponsored a discussion on school district-municipal cooperation at Workshop and at the League’s Annual Conference.
