Description: Project SOAR (Secondary Options for Academic Recovery) is a growing after school program, designed by the Wayne Township Public Schools, to meet the needs of an ever-growing population of students with the primary goal of returning students to their home high school. SOAR is in many ways a bridge that keeps students connected with the high school experience, while other problems are addressed through the support of the school employees, as well as external agencies and professionals. At this meeting, Mark Toback, Ed.D., Superintendent of Schools and Jennifer Varano, Assistant Principal - Secondary Student Support Services, Wayne Public Schools, will discuss this program. Additionally, The Passaic County School Boards Association will celebrate the many accomplishments of its school districts and board members. Please join us to honor your fellow board members. Board members will be recognized for milestone achievements, including awards for Certificated Board Members, Master Board Members, and Certified Board Leader.
