Dr. Timothy Purnell, executive director and CEO of the New Jersey School Boards Association, was joined by two members of the Association’s Communications Department on the April 10 episode of “The Boardroom.”

Janet Bamford, chief public affairs officer, and Thomas Parmalee, manager of communications and publications, joined Purnell for a wide-ranging conversation about how the department serves fellow staff, board members and the public.

They focused on School Board Notes, the Association’s weekly newsletter; School Leader, its quarterly magazine; various other resources; as well as how the department works with the media and members to provide timely and accurate information.

The Boardroom is a live Q&A session between Purnell, his guest and members. Listeners are encouraged to call in and ask questions. You can participate in the show by calling 609-278-5292.
