The Bound Brook School District was honored at the Somerset County School Boards Association meeting on Dec. 8 at the Somerset County Vocational and Technical High School for being a recognized program in the 2022-2023 School Leader awards.

It received the recognition for its high school’s Career Technical Education and Work Based Learning program, which increases high school and post-secondary graduation attainment, fosters a sense of self-efficacy and encourages a desire for lifelong learning with a prospect for achieving a college education and simultaneous career pathway in science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics related areas.
