Students who graduated or expect to graduate from high school from July 1, 2022, to June 30, 2024, can apply to attend the 2023 National Youth Science Camp, which will be held with a hybrid model from June 19, 2023, to July 12, 2023. Two delegates per state will be selected by their governor’s office.

The first five days will be held on a virtual basis, with the remaining days in-person at Camp Pocahontas in West Virginia. Housing, meals, transportation and supplies are provided to participants at no cost, but selected delegates must commit to attending the full camp, including the in-person portion.

The deadline to submit applications is 6 p.m., Feb. 28, 2023.

To apply to the National Youth Science Camp, complete an application and direct any questions to your state selection coordinator.

Selected delegates will be expected to commit to attending camp and fill out paperwork by April 10, 2023, or their spot may be given to an alternate from their state or another state.
