The New Jersey School Boards Association will host a mandated training day Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024, for Governance I, II, and IV. Training sessions for Governance I will be in-person only, while Governance II and IV will be virtual only.
- Governance I: Designed for new board members in the first year of their first term.
- *New board members must complete a mandated training orientation course within the first 90 days of taking office.
- Governance II: Finance – For members in the second year of their first term.
- Governance IV: Legal Update – For reelected/reappointed board members in the first year of any succeeding term.
This free opportunity will allow you to complete your mandated training requirements, share knowledge and connect with fellow school leaders working toward the same goals.
A complimentary lunch will be available for Governance I trainees.
Governance I will take place in-person at the NJSBA headquarters in Trenton from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. This program offers three Board Member Academy credits. Register here.
