Dr. Timothy Purnell, executive director and CEO of the New Jersey School Boards Association, hosted a new episode of “The Boardroom” podcast at the Association’s headquarters Jan. 10.
As part of Purnell’s ongoing mission to be a resource for board members, the updated version of “The Boardroom” features a live Q&A session between Purnell, his guest and members. Conveniently aired during lunchtime, listeners are encouraged to call in and ask questions.
For the Jan. 10 episode, he sat down for a wide-ranging conversation with Marcia Lavigne, director of professional learning at NJSBA. Together, they dove into the topic, “Understanding Mandated Training Compliance and Supporting Newly Elected Members.”
During the live broadcast, the two interacted with numerous members of local boards of education, who watched live via the Association’s YouTube, Facebook, X (formerly known as Twitter) and Instagram pages
