The New Jersey School Boards Association is beginning a search for a deputy executive director, and is holding two virtual town hall meetings this week to gather input from members on what NJSBA should look for in a successful candidate for the position.

Dr. Timothy Purnell, NJSBA executive director and CEO, invited the Association’s members to attend one of the meetings to share their thoughts. “This is an exciting time for the New Jersey School Boards Association, and I need your feedback on your organization’s future,” noted Purnell in the email invitation to members.

The sessions will be facilitated by Dr. Ralph Ferrie and Dr. Christopher Tienken, members of the search consultant firm.

Members may attend a virtual session on one of the two following dates:  Wednesday, Jan. 24 or Thursday, Jan. 25. The town hall meetings will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. The meeting room will open promptly at 6 p.m. for each event.
