You can now watch a new episode of School Leader Up Close, the video companion feature to School Leader, the quarterly magazine of the New Jersey School Boards Association.
The latest video shines a spotlight on the Winter 2024 issue of the magazine, and features an interview with two of NJSBA’s labor relations experts, Kurt Rebovich Jr., NJSBA’s associate director of partnerships, and Sandy Raup, business data analyst.
Raup highlights recent trends in collective bargaining agreements and discusses how board negotiations committees can use NJSBA’s Negotiations Data Portal to prepare to bargain with their employee unions. Rebovich talks about bargaining basics, including impasse, mediation and super-conciliation.
