Sometimes, heroes walk among us – and we don’t even know who they are.
These unsung heroes make outstanding contributions to their schools and communities, even though they are often overlooked under traditional student recognition guidelines. Unsung heroes can be people who make their school a better place because of their warm personality, their empathy and concern for others. They tend not to let obstacles stop them.
NJSBA would like to recognize some of the unsung heroes among students in New Jersey for the 2021-2022 school year.
