The Senate Budget and Appropriations Committee has announced that it will hold two hearings to receive testimony on Gov. Phil Murphy’s proposed budget for the fiscal year 2024. The first will be held in person, with a second one scheduled to take place remotely. Here are the times and locations for each hearing:

  • Tuesday, March 14 at 10 a.m.
    Ramapo College of New Jersey, Trustees Pavilion, 505 Ramapo Valley Road, Mahwah, NJ 07430.
  • Tuesday, April 25 at 10 a.m.
    The hearing will be conducted remotely without the possibility of in-person attendance. The public may view the hearing via the New Jersey Legislature homepage.

Registration: Any member of the public may testify at these hearings. However, they must register in advance. Anyone wishing to provide testimony may sign up here.

The Assembly Budget Committee will also be holding public hearings.

Note: Participants will only be allowed to testify at one Senate public hearing and/or one Assembly public hearing. Those participants from statewide or national organizations with multiple chapters, offices, locations, etc., should consolidate their efforts and select one person to represent the organization at one public hearing. Your presentation may include information pertaining to more than one chapter, office, location, etc.
