The New Jersey School Boards Association is pleased to host a Spring Conference on Friday, May 10 at the Conference Center at Mercer from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This in-person prequel to Workshop 2024 will feature more than a dozen training sessions covering topics impacting boards of education today, including sessions targeted at helping boards learn effective public relations strategies.

Learn how to tackle some of the most important issues by attending sessions such as:

Social Media: Legal and Ethical Considerations for School Officials: Social media can offer great promise —and equally great peril. Join us to review the constantly changing legal and ethical considerations that school officials should understand when using social media.

Crisis Communications Around Bullying Incidents: Communicating with students, parents, staff and the public about bullying and cyberbullying incidents requires special considerations. This session will explore how to communicate effectively and compassionately, as well as how to provide support for students and staff in the age of social media.

Seating for the Spring Conference is limited – register now to secure your spot. More information will be made available soon.
