On May 3, 2023, the New Jersey State Board of Education approved the proficiency level cut score for the English language arts and mathematics components of the New Jersey Graduation Proficiency Assessment, as well as the menu of alternative assessments and aligned cut scores, according to an advisory from the New Jersey Department of Education.

The requirements for the classes of 2024 and 2025 will be available on the Graduation Assessment Requirements webpage.
