Stakeholders can now register for one of three Elementary and Secondary Emergency Relief roundtables mean to inform local educational agencies about new and innovative ideas to utilize ESSER funds most effectively.

The New Jersey Department of Education ESSER roundtables will provide a platform where LEAs can network and brainstorm to learn new, allowable and innovative ways to use ESSER funds in a meaningful manner, according to an advisory.

The virtual gatherings will consist of a combination of introductory ESSER presentations with a new focus each month; an allowable use of funds presentation by NJDOE program offices; LEA showcase(s); and question-and-answer periods.

The roundtables will be held on the following dates:

  • Wednesday, November 29, 2023.
  • Wednesday, January 24, 2024.
  • Wednesday, March 20, 2024.

Registration is required through the NJDOE Calendar of Events.
