The New Jersey School Boards Association will host its Leadership Conference: “Everyone Moving Forward Together!” on Friday, Nov. 17, 2023, at Crowne Plaza in Plainsboro.

Providing a forum for learning, networking and teamwork, this conference will inspire attendees to stay informed and empower them to make a positive impact in their districts.

One of the highlights of the program will be “Growth Leadership: Empowering Your Leadership Staff,” which will feature a board president, two superintendents and a supervisor talking about steps boards and districts can take to maximize their impact on staff efficacy and student outcomes. They will also emphasize how a growth leader empowers and supports those around them to improve the overall effectiveness of the educational institution.

Lana Brennan, Clinton Township School District; Dr. Jeanene Dutt, North Warren Regional School District; Corrina Parsio, South Orange Maplewood School District; and Dr. Melissa Stager, Clinton Township School District, will all participate in the growth leadership session.

This conference will last from 9:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. The fee is $99 for virtual attendees and $135 for in-person attendees. The program offers four Board Member Academy Credits.
