The New Jersey Department of Education announced the opening of an additional round of applications for the Securing Our Children’s Future Bond Act Career and Technical Education Expansion Grant, authorized pursuant to the Securing Our Children’s Future Bond Act, P.L. 2018, c. 119.
This opportunity is open to New Jersey County Vocational School Districts that meet the third-round eligibility requirements.
CVSD CTE Expansion Grant applications and required uploads must be submitted using the grant application form through the SOCFBA CTE Expansion Grant system on NJDOE Homeroom. Grant applications and eligible work must comply with the CTE Expansion Grant Final Guidelines and the regulations at N.J.A.C. 6A:26A-1.4 and N.J.A.C. 6A:26A-2.1 to -2.5. Grant applications are due by Feb. 15, 2024.
The SOCFBA implementing regulations, N.J.A.C. 6A:26A-1.1 to -4.4, set limits on the number and amount of CTE expansion grants to county vocational school districts. Eligibility for the third round will be limited based on the approved grants in the first and second rounds and the regulatory requirements set forth on the CTE Grant Third Round Eligibility document posted on the School Facilities webpage.
