The New Jersey School Boards Association is happy to bring new board members engaging virtual sessions of Governance I: New Board Member Orientation. NJSBA staff will present information a new board member needs to perform their responsibilities effectively. Sessions will include time to ask questions.
Each live training session will last about two hours.
Session 1
Monday, Nov. 21, 2022: 7 to 9 p.m.
Session 2 (New Date)
Monday, Dec. 5, 2022: 7 to 9 p.m.
Session 3 (New Date)
Monday, Dec. 12, 2022: 7 to 9 p.m.
Members must attend all three sessions to fulfil the Governance 1 requirement and receive BMA credit. Pre-registration is required.
Registration Information
For school board members, superintendents, and others included in the NJSBA census, registration for mandated training must be handled by your business administrator.
