Sustainable Jersey, a network and movement of over 400 municipalities and 300 schools and school districts working collectively to achieve a sustainable future, will hold several webinars in its “Deep Dive” series as part of its Digital Schools Program.

Here are some of the organization’s upcoming programs:

Digital Learning Practices At 10 a.m., Dec. 1, learn how to work toward a Digital Schools star recognition and Sustainable Jersey for Schools certification.

School district experts will highlight how their digital learning practices helped them achieve star status. They will explore authentic application of digital learning tools and content, digital citizenship, personalized learning and growing independent learners and professional growth and collaboration.

Panelists will include representatives from George L. Catrambone Elementary School of the Long Branch Public School District, Essex County Schools of Technology, Mountain View Elementary School of the Mount Olive Township School District and Hackensack Middle School.

Digital Technology Access At 10 a.m., Dec. 9, find out how school district digital learning experts successfully implemented and maintained their digital technology access. Experts will explore topics such as safety and security policy, digital device life cycle management, infrastructure and support for digital teaching and learning.

Panelists will include representatives from Franklin Township Public Schools, Hackensack School District, Essex County Schools of Technology and Howell Township Public Schools.

Digital Learning Leadership Actions At 2 p.m., Dec. 16, school district experts will reveal how their digital learning leadership practices helped them earn the prestigious star recognition as part of their Sustainable Jersey for Schools certification. The webinar will highlight community engagement, district commitment to digital learning, district professional development plan and equitable access to digital learning.

Panelists will include representatives from Mount Olive Township School District, Adelphia School of Howell Township Public Schools and Howell Township Public Schools District.
