At its Oct. 4, 2023, public meeting, the New Jersey State Board of Education approved the following rulemaking for publication in the Nov. 6, 2023, New Jersey Register:
Amendments to N.J.A.C. 6A:14, Special Education, that are related to physical therapy assistants and to allow for the provision of related services through virtual instruction, as appropriate, and as required by a student’s individualized education program.

Public testimony will be held Dec. 6, 2023. Members of the public may send in written comments concerning the notice by Jan. 5, 2024, via the NJDOE’s Administrative Code and Statute webpage or via email.
The above notice has been distributed in compliance with N.J.A.C. 6A:6-3.1(d)5, which stipulates the NJDOE will distribute a press release as an additional method of publicity required under the Administrative Procedures Act for all rulemakings.
