Workshop 2023 is just under two weeks away, and the New Jersey School Boards Association can’t wait to welcome thousands of school officials to its premier conference.

Workshop is the largest professional development event for school leaders in New Jersey with nearly 300 training programs. Workshop will run from Monday, Oct. 23 through Thursday, Oct. 26 at the Atlantic City Convention Center.

To recognize New Jersey’s education leaders, Workshop 2023 will feature multiple awards ceremonies honoring individuals throughout the state who make a true difference in public education. See the schedule for these awards ceremonies below.

Tuesday, Oct. 24 at 11 a.m. – NJSBA/NJASA/NJASBO Awards Ceremony

The New Jersey School Boards Association, the New Jersey Association of School Administrators and the New Jersey Association of School Business Officials will present awards for School Board Member of the Year, Regional Superintendents of the Year, School Business Administrator of the year and more.

Tuesday, Oct. 24 at 11 a.m. – STEAM Tank Challenge Elementary School Division Awards Ceremony

Following live presentations from each of the top three teams beginning at 9:30 a.m., these talented students will be awarded for their creativity, ingenuity and entrepreneurial skills. The winning team will receive $5,000 in prize money.

Tuesday, Oct. 24 at 2:15 p.m. – Sustainable Jersey for Schools Awards Ceremony

Sustainable Jersey for Schools will present its annual awards to schools that went above and beyond being certified in the designated year.

Wednesday, Oct. 25 at 11 a.m. – Unsung Superheroes in Education Awards

New this year, the Unsung Superheroes in Education Awards recognize individuals who work tirelessly behind the scenes, often without recognition, to ensure that our schools run smoothly and provide a safe and nurturing environment for our students.
