The Elementary and Secondary Emergency Relief roundtables to inform and assist districts with new and innovative ideas and ways to utilize ESSER funds will continue throughout the rest of 2022, the New Jersey Department of Education announced in an advisory.

The Division of Educational Services will continue to offer ESSER roundtables to help districts learn how to use funds in a meaningful manner.

The one-hour virtual gatherings will consist of a combination of four 15-minute sessions. The sessions will include an introductory ESSER presentation with a new focus each month and a review of allowable uses of funds with a presentation from a department program office each month. In addition, there will be a presentation each month by three districts, highlighting their individual, new and/or innovative approaches and ending with a brief Q&A session.

The dates of the upcoming roundtables are below:

  • Wednesday, Oct. 19 (registration deadline: Friday, Oct. 14).
  • Wednesday, Nov. 16 (registration deadline: Friday, Nov. 11).
  • Wednesday, Dec. 14 (registration deadline: Friday, Dec. 9).

Registration is required through the NJDOE Calendar of Events.
