School officials can begin gearing up for the New Jersey School Boards Association’s annual Virtual Workshop 2021 by reviewing its just-released conference agenda, featuring 100 training sessions.

Virtual Workshop 2021 will be held virtually from Tuesday, Oct. 26 to Thursday, Oct. 28.

Co-sponsored by the New Jersey Association of School Administrators and the New Jersey Association of School Business Officials, the professional development conference will offer special events, networking opportunities, motivating keynote speakers, student entertainment, an interactive exhibit hall and the latest in training via a state-of-the-art digital platform.

Hot topics related to the pandemic, digital learning, equity, cybersecurity, social and emotional learning, community relations and sustainable practices will be covered. Updates regarding school law, policies and federal funding opportunities also are on the list.

“Workshop is the time of year when school officials from throughout New Jersey can gather to learn from each other and industry experts to boost their knowledge and leadership skills. We also use this annual conference as a time to celebrate public education and our larger education community,” said Dr. Lawrence S. Feinsod, NJSBA executive director. “It is comforting to be in the company of thousands of others serving in similar roles. Sharing our experiences and important lessons learned only makes us stronger, which in the end, benefits our children.”
