On Saturday, Sept. 17, the New Jersey School Boards Association’s Legislative Committee will hold its first meeting of the 2022-2023 school year, with Assembly Speaker Craig Coughlin (D-19) to be featured as a guest speaker.
Coughlin will share an overview of recent developments at the State House and his legislative priorities for the current session. The meeting will also leave time for questions from the audience.
The committee agenda will also include approval of the minutes from the May 7 meeting and updates from the NJSBA Governmental Relations Department.
The legislative committee meeting is open to all NJSBA members. It will commence at 9:00 a.m. and be held remotely.
