ELFNJ Spotlight: ELFNJ Spotlight: Hybrid County Association Meetings

This fall, NJSBA’s county school boards association meetings will continue to be hybrid — with board members able to attend in-person and virtually.

The meetings will include the content-rich programming that is a hallmark of county school boards associations.

Members will hear updates from executive county superintendents and NJSBA staff members, speak with state legislators and share ideas and best practices with each other.

Among the topics that will be discussed at meetings throughout the fall:

• Personnel, finance, and policy.
• School district finances.
• School safety and security.
• Academic achievement.
• Roundtable discussions on current topics.

Board members are encouraged to attend meetings in any county — not just their home county and to bring a friend.

New Jersey’s 21 county school boards associations offer training, information and forums to explore the issues facing public school districts.
