The Educational Leadership Foundation of New Jersey once again sponsored the $500 award for the New Jersey Hometown Documentary Short – High School division category at the Garden State Film Festival.

On June 16, during the Morris County School Boards Association meeting at Parsippany Hills High School, NJSBA honored Dylan Visioli, the winning student filmmaker from Boonton Town school district. His film, “Turning Iron into Art: The Boonton Story,” was screened at the meeting, and he was presented with a certificate marking his accomplishment. The Boonton district also received a $500 award from ELFNJ.

On June 15, the ELFNJ Board of Trustees met for their biannual meeting at NJSBA headquarters. During this meeting, the trustees honored Dr. Lawrence S. Feinsod, the retiring executive director of NJSBA, for his years of service to ELFNJ and NJSBA with a celebratory breakfast.
