Barry Fitzgerald

Barry Fitzgerald was elected as vice president for county activities of the New Jersey School Boards Association during the organization’s semi-annual Delegate Assembly on May 13, 2023.

He has served on the Evesham Township Board of Education for 10 years, as president for three years and serving on various committees, including negotiations, personnel, policy and building and grounds. He is a member of the Lenape Regional High School Board of Education for the past nine years, serving as a president for two years and participating on various committees, including executive planning chair, policy and public relations chair, negotiations chair, nominating, transportation, and food services and building and grounds.

Fitzgerald is the Vice President for the Burlington County School Board Association and  serves on the NJSIAA Executive Committee.

Fitzgerald’s community activities include 15 years as a board member on the Evesham Township Municipal Alliance, Commissioner of Marlton soccer for 10 years, the Evesham Celebrations Foundation for 14 years, Evesham Township Town Watch vice president for eight years and Marlton Rec Council coach for 14 years.

He is employed by Miller Truck Leasing, Lumberton, New Jersey, serving as the rental director for 27 years.
