Superintendent – Cranford

The Cranford Public School District, located in Union County, NJ, is seeking an experienced, creative, highly motivated educational leader to serve as Superintendent of Schools.  The District has eight schools, with approximately 3900 students.  The District’s mission is to provide students with a broad academic foundation based upon the New Jersey State Standards, nurture their talents and abilities and inspire them to become life-long learners.  The successful candidate should have integrity, a strong administrative background, problem solving ability, excellent collaborative skills, and the ability to nurture productive relationships with all stakeholder groups and the community as a whole.

Qualifications

• NJ School Administrative Certification or Certification of Eligibility
• Minimum of 5 years combined experience as a Superintendent and/or Building Principal
• Classroom teaching experience
• An earned doctorate is desirable

Salary commensurate with education and experience, subject to New Jersey state regulations.
