Introduction
Pleasantville School District, Atlantic County. The Pleasantville School District is seeking a collaborative educational leader to provide innovative leadership and administrative management for our PreK-12, urban district. The successful candidate will join the board of education in developing a shared vision and high expectations for our diverse student body and involved community. Currently serving 3,900 students with 689 full time staff in seven schools with an $89,715,332 million dollar budget, the district is seeking an accomplished leader with proven success in raising student achievement. The successful candidate will have expertise in curriculum and instruction, finance, community engagement and a commitment to providing a dynamic and supportive learning environment where all students can achieve their full potential.
Qualifications
- NJ School Administrator Certificate or Certificate of Eligibility required
- Superintendent, Asst. Superintendent, Central Administration/Supervisory and/or Principal experience required
- Classroom teaching experience preferred
- Educational leadership with demonstrated skills in curriculum, personnel management, planning, finance, and communications
- Experience working with a diverse community
