NJDOE Allocates $4.5M in Grants to Support Climate Change Education in Schools

In the state fiscal year 2023 budget, Gov. Phil Murphy and the Legislature allocated $4.5 million to support climate change education grants to schools. The New Jersey Department of Education announced the availability of those grants Feb. 15.

NJDOE, Passaic Board of Education and Kean University Among Mental Health Services Grant Recipients

Paterson Public Schools Awarded $2.5M in Federal Full-Service Community Schools Funds

Paterson Public Schools officials announced Jan. 18 that the district has been awarded a grant from the U.S. Department of Education’s Full-Service Community Schools program. The grant is in the amount of $499,959 and is expected to be renewed annually for five years.

K-12 School Districts Invited to Apply for $80M in Department of Energy Grants

The U.S. Department of Energy is now accepting applications for the first round of the Renew America’s Schools Grant Program, which consists of up to $80 million of the $500 million program, according to the U.S. Department of Education.
