Workshop 2019: Early Bird Pricing, Registration, and Housing

The annual Workshop training conference will take place from Monday, Oct. 21 to Thursday, Oct. 24 at the Atlantic City Convention Center. The annual Workshop conference is the largest training event for New Jersey’s local school officials.

Workshop 2019 conference registration and hotel reservations are available online on the Workshop 2019 website. Workshop registration and hotel reservations must be handled by the school business administrator.

Group Registration The Workshop group registration covers 20 team members. Districts may include the school board, business administrator, superintendent, facilities managers, curriculum professionals, IT staff, principals, human resource professionals, and other district staff in their group registration.

Pricing/Early Bird Rates From now through June 30, NJSBA is offering a special “early bird” group registration rate of $1,600 for up to 20 team members. The regular group registration rate of $1,700 will go into effect on July 1. The individual registration rate for Workshop 2019 is $375 per person.

Additional Information

Onsite Badge Printing All attendees will print their own badges at Workshop 2019 by typing their full name into the kiosks located in the registration area. Please confirm that the email address for each registrant is correct during the registration process. No badges will be mailed or emailed for 2019. 

Housing Information Ocean is the headquarters hotel. NJSBA has secured a block of rooms at a number of hotels in Atlantic City for Workshop 2019 attendees. Hotel and rate information is available on the Workshop 2019 website. Business Administrators may make reservations online or by downloading and completing the housing form and faxing it to AC Central at (609) 383-8616. Housing reservations are handled by AC Central. For questions about housing, call AC Central at 1-866-790-9941 from 8:00 a.m. until 6 p.m., or email service@acrooms.com.

The last day to pay for/make hotel reservations is September 20.

Travel Waiver/Four Days of Training Workshop will provide four days of training, including New Board Member Orientation, leadership training, and an EdCamp on Monday, Oct. 21. Individuals whose one-way commute to the Atlantic City Convention Center exceeds 50 miles may obtain reimbursement from their school district, charter school, or renaissance school for overnight lodging for October 21, 22, and 23, 2019. Please read the waiver letter for more information on travel restrictions.
