Reminder: The Annual NJSBA Membership Census

Please review and update your school district’s annual NJSBA Membership Census today. The census is vitally important to help ensure that school board members fulfill their leadership requirements.

Providing accurate census information to NJSBA benefits both board members and school business administrators by making it easier to use NJSBA’s online functions. Accurate information also allows NJSBA to communicate with board members and business administrators so they can:

  • Register for the Annual Workshop conference
  • Register for, and fulfill Mandated Training requirements
  • Register for other NJSBA training programs
  • Earn professional development credit
  • Receive important news and advocacy updates

How do I review my census? To review or update your board census information, visit the NJSBA website at www.njsba.org and take the following steps:

  1. Log In” on the top right corner of the page. Then, enter your username and password.
  2. When you are logged in, click “My Account” in the top right corner of the page.
  3. Select the “Board Management” on the tab to the right of the center of the page.
  4. On the “Board Details” screen, select “Census Report” from the list.

District board members, administrators and other district staff may be added, deleted, and modified from within the form. Use beginning and end dates for each individual board member as appropriate. Any additional comments may be added at the bottom of the form.

It is very important for you to confirmthat there is an email address for each individual, so that NJSBA has a means to contact school board members about state-required training, and other vital information. An email address is also necessary for onsite badge printing at the annual Workshop conference.

Once the census form is complete, click the “Submit for Approval” button, or select “Cancel” to remove all changes.

If there are no changes to the census report, email callcenter@njsba.org with your full name, contact information and the name of your board. In the text of the email, indicate that there are “no changes.”

If you have questions regarding the census, please contact callcenter@njsba.org.

We appreciate your time and thank you for your cooperation.
