NJSBA’s publication, School Election 2020: Questions and Answers, responds to 122 topics ranging from campaigning to qualifications for school board candidacy and the role of county election officials.

Developed by NJSBA’s Legal & Labor Relations Services Department, the publication is updated annually.

On November 3, 2020, voters in more than 530 of New Jersey’s local school districts will elect board of education members. Approximately 1,500 school board positions will be on the ballot statewide.
