New Jersey School Boards Association’s Workshop 2023 is taking place from Monday, Oct. 23 through Thursday, Oct. 26 at the Atlantic City Convention Center. This four-day conference, co-sponsored by the New Jersey Association of School Administrators and the New Jersey Association of School Business Officials, is the largest training event for school officials in New Jersey.

NJSBA invites you to share your expertise at this year’s Workshop by submitting a program proposal for an opportunity to present a training session to thousands of New Jersey’s public school leaders. Proposals should be creative, engaging and thoughtful, and they should reflect best practices in education today.

Set yourself apart by giving Workshop participants a reason to attend your program by proposing a compelling topic and session. Past Workshops show that attendees want to see engaging and educational presentations that share:

  • Best practices.
  • Tools that can be easily implemented.
  • Differentiated content for new and veteran school leaders.
  • Cutting-edge innovations.

NJSBA offers two types of sessions; choose the one that makes the most sense for your program.

Action Lab This 90-minute session will be set in a room with round tables to a maximum seating capacity of 48-60 attendees to allow for small group activities.

Group Sessions (Concurrent Sessions) This 60-minute session will be set in a theater style to a maximum seating capacity of 50-250 attendees to allow for audience engagement and a Q&A segment.

The submission deadline for program proposals is Thursday, June 15, 2023, by midnight. Acceptance emails will be sent out in July. All Workshop program submissions will receive equal consideration.
