The U.S. Department of Education has clearly stated that ESSER III funds can be utilized to pay for services aimed at combating learning loss—which continues for several years. Every district can use ESSER III funds for this purpose, along with state and local funds, including NJ High-Impact Tutoring funds for those districts that received this grant.
