Using NJSBA’s Cooperative Pricing System to Access Virtual, High-Impact Tutoring

NJSBA, Carahsoft Technologies, and Varsity Tutors will discuss using NJSBA’s cooperative pricing system to access virtual, high-impact tutoring, including both paid, high-dosage solutions and district-wide tutoring solutions available at no cost under this program.

Varsity Tutors is a pre-approved vendor for the New Jersey Learning Acceleration Program: High-Impact Tutoring Grant. Through a national network of highly vetted tutors, Varsity Tutors for Schools provides high-dosage tutoring one-on-one and in small groups. Varsity Tutors for Schools’ Director of Strategic Educational Partnerships, Sarah Marr, will provide examples of how New Jersey LEAs are using Varsity Tutors to supplement their in-house resources, discuss procurement vehicles, share transparent pricing, and answer questions from the audience.

Fall 2023 Legislative Update

Over the last few months, the Legislature and the Murphy Administration have advanced several education priorities likely to impact school district programs and operations in the 2023-2024 school year and beyond. The NJSBA Governmental Relations team will provide information on new statutes and regulations affecting school districts, and a summary of other recent legislative developments. Staff will be available to answer questions on any recent activity and what we might expect as the 2022-2023 legislative session draws to a close.
