Local school boards are the most powerful advocates for public education, but navigating the legislative process in Trenton can be daunting. This interactive session, designed in coordination with NJSBA’s Governmental Relations team, will equip board members with a clear roadmap for effective advocacy. Participants will learn how to transition from general legislative awareness to active local participation, understand the key priorities of legislative committees, and master actionable strategies to effectively champion their district's needs before state legislators.
