Goal Setting - Charting the Path to Student Success
The session will assist in planning for the upcoming school year by focusing on policy development and identification of priorities that move the district closer to its vision and mission. The session will include defining roles and accountability through the creation of District & Board Goals, the cycle of goal setting, and reflecting on accomplishments and challenges, identifying the most critical 3-5 needs, and creating action plans to map guiding the pathway of how the district will achieve its goals. The importance of aligning time, talent, and resources to the district’s vision and mission will be a focal point of the session.

The NJSBA Policy staff will cover recent updates to the rules for home instruction, epilepsy training, student mental health referrals and others.
