Several legislative committees , including the Senate and Assembly Education committees, met and advanced various measures over the past week that could land on the governor’s desk before the current session ends next month.

Members of the New Jersey School Boards Association’s Legislative Committee heard from Sen. Vin Gopal, a Democrat from Legislative District 11 who chairs the Senate Education Committee, during a virtual meeting Dec. 16.
