Nominations for the New Jersey School Boards Association’s “Unsung Superheroes in Education” Awards are open until Aug. 1. Recognize your school’s “unsung heroes” by nominating them for this award that honors essential staff who are often overlooked. 

New Jersey’s county vocational-technical schools had another record-setting year for the number of graduates who earned an associate degree at the same time as their high school diploma: 250.

New Jersey Tutoring Corps Inc., an education nonprofit created to address educational recovery needs due to the pandemic, is successfully closing learning gaps for New Jersey PreK-8 students, according to a news release.

Individual student reports will be sent to both the sending and receiving LEAs for students who receive their instruction at a school other than their accountable school.

The guidance demonstrates how the New Jersey Tiered System of Supports framework can aid LEAs in their efforts to understand and address barriers to regular attendance.
