The New Jersey School Boards Association is pleased to welcome Joe Theismann — world champion quarterback, broadcaster, and entrepreneur — as the keynote speaker for Workshop 2025.
Joe Theismann is the former star quarterback for the Washington Redskins. He spent the last two decades working for ESPN and the NFL Network as a broadcaster, commentator and analyst.
Theismann was selected as the NFL’s Man of the Year in 1982 for his community service and dedication to the health and welfare of children. In 1983, he won the league’s Most Valuable Player Award, leading the Redskins to a second consecutive Super Bowl appearance.
In 2003, he was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame and in 2013 received the Walter Camp Football Foundation’s “Distinguished American” Award.
Theismann has evolved from an athlete to the ultimate businessman. An Emmy award- winning analyst, entrepreneur and athlete, he uses his gifts, talent and high energy to share his strategies for handling unforeseen change.

Scam Alert: Beware of False Room Offers
Unfortunately, several exhibitors and attendees each year fall prey to accommodation offers from fraudulent companies — most notably a scammer known as Exhibitors Housing Services. These hotel providers present themselves as our official hotel booking partner. Note that these groups are in no way affiliated with NJSBA and their claims of having access to rooms are false. NJSBA cannot guarantee any hotel rooms that are not booked through AC Central.
Please ask your school business administrator to register your district today!
