SPELL JIF – School Pool for Excess Liability Limits Joint Insurance Fund

The SPELL JIF was created in 2001 by the ACCASBO, BCIP, and GCSSD JIFs to provide a stable, long term method for schools to mitigate risk and return surplus money back to their districts. The JIFs reduce the cost of insurance so more money is available for educational purposes.
