The Deerfield Township Board of Education is seeking applicants for the position of Interim Superintendent/Principal of Schools to work 3 days a week.
Deerfield Township, with a population of 3136 residents, is located in Cumberland County, New Jersey. The single school houses 350 students in grades Pre-Kindergarten through eighth. The students are served by 46 staff members and supported by a budget of 6.4 million dollars. High School students attend Cumberland Regional High School or have the option of Cumberland County Technical Education Center.
The Board is seeking an Interim Superintendent/Principal of Schools who has administrative experience. The successful candidate must have demonstrated expertise in the following:
- Leadership in curriculum, instruction and assessment
- Lead with integrity, transparency and a student first mindset
- Cultivate a supportive and safe learning environment
- Exercise fiscal management
- Communicate clearly, consistently and authentically
- Knowledge of Special Education requirements
Qualifications:
- NJ School Administrator certification
- Experience as a Superintendent
