The Pascack Valley Regional High School District seeks an innovative, student-centered leader to serve as Superintendent beginning July 1, 2026. The district serves approximately 2,000 students in two high schools (Pascack Valley and Pascack Hills) and also operates Park Academy, a unique program for students with distinctive learning needs, across the communities of River Vale, Hillsdale, Montvale, and Woodcliff Lake. The ideal candidate will be a visionary who is focused on students and will continue our tradition of academic excellence, foster a culture of equity and inclusion, and engage meaningfully with students, staff, parents, and the broader community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing strategic leadership that ensures high-quality teaching and leadership across the district.
- Supporting and enhancing the district’s innovative programs, including technology integration and 21st-century learning initiatives.
- Promoting fiscal responsibility while maximizing resources to support student achievement.
- Collaborating effectively with the Board of Education, administrators, staff, families, and community stakeholders.
- Recruiting, developing, and retaining exceptional educators and staff.
- Being a champion for social-emotional learning to meet the needs of all learners.
Qualifications:
- NJ School Administrator Certificate or Certificate of Eligibility (CE)
- Proven record as district or building leadership
- Demonstrate expertise in curriculum development, finance, personnel management, and community relations
- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commit to student growth, innovation, and continuous improvement
Position available: On or about July 1, 2026
Salary range is $220K–$250K, commensurate with experience, credentials, and qualifications and is subject to negotiation with the PVRHSD Board of Education and approval by the Bergen County ECS.
