Business Administrator

Port Republic School District serves 107 students in grades K-8 with an operating budget of $3,700,000 and approximately 25 staff members.

Qualifications:

  • Valid New Jersey School Business Administrator Certificate.
  • Minimum experience as determined by the board.
  • Understanding of the principles and practices of financial accounting and reporting procedures consistent with statute, code and GAAP requirements.
  • Knowledge of accepted business practices in school districts related to budget preparation and administration, insurance, purchasing, transportation, food services, school plant operations and interpersonal skills.
  • Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.

Reports to: Superintendent/Board of Education

Supervises: All custodial, maintenance, food service, transportation, and business operations staff.

Job Goal: To supervise, manage, and coordinate the business affairs of the district efficiently and effectively to ensure that educational support services help to achieve the educational goals of the district with the available financial resources.

Terms of Employment: Part-Time, Twelve Month, Start Date 7/1/2026

Pay Rate: $120,000 Minimum for 1 FTE, Prorated for PT FTE Contract
