Washington Township Public School

Washington Township School District is a non-operating district which serves roughly 40 students in grades PreK-8 and 20 students in grades 9-12. We have an operating budget of $2,200,000, with no paid staff and a complete send/receive relationship with Mullica Township and Greater Egg Harbor Regional.

Qualifications:

Valid New Jersey School Business Administrator Certificate.

  1. Minimum experience as determined by the board.
  2. Understanding of the principles and practices of financial accounting and reporting procedures consistent with statute, code and GAAP requirements.
  3. Knowledge of accepted business practices in school districts related to budget preparation and administration, insurance, purchasing, shared services, transportation and interpersonal skills.
  4. Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.

Reports to: Board of Education

Job Goal: To supervise, manage, and coordinate the business affairs of non-operating district efficiently and effectively and to ensure that all educational support services are procured to help achieve the educational goals of the district with the available financial resources.

Terms of Employment: Part-Time, Twelve Month, Start Date 7/1/2026

Pay Rate: $20,000 Minimum contract; pay commensurate with experience.
