The Buena Regional Board of Education, is seeking an innovative, dedicated, collaborative leader to serve as Superintendent of Schools. The successful candidate will be one who is an engaged and visible educational leader. He/she will demonstrate proficiency in areas of curriculum, personnel management, finance, community engagement, strategic planning, technology and organizational and people skills.

The Buena Regional School District serves grades PK – 12 students from the communities of Buena Vista Township and Buena Township. The district houses approximately 1800 students with 11 administrators/supervisors, approximately 180 certified staff members and approximately 110 support staff.

Qualifications:

NJ School Administrator or Certificate of Eligibility required
Previous Superintendent, Asst. Superintendent, or Central Office/District Office administrative experience preferred.
Teaching experience preferred.

The successful candidate will possess:

Accomplished leadership skills in curriculum, planning, finance, communications, and personnel management.
A collaborative management style with strong interpersonal skills.
A commitment to educational excellence for all students and staff.
Proficiency in strategic planning, data analysis, technology and organizational skills.

Salary: Commensurate with experience; subject of NJ State regulations.
