Superintendent – Somers Point

Somers Point Board of Education is seeking an educational leader for their proud and diverse community in Atlantic County.  The school district is comprised of 3 buildings, approximately 950 students, Pre-K-8, with 7 administrators and 180 staff members supported by a budget of $23 million.  They are a sending district to Mainland Regional High School.

Qualifications:

• NJ School Administrator Certificate or Certificate of Eligibility required
• Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, Principal and/or Central Office experience required
• Classroom teaching experience preferred

 The Successful Candidate will Possess:

• Experience and leadership in curriculum development, community interaction, long range planning, diverse communities, and finance.

Salary: commensurate with education and experience; subject to NJ State regulations.
